Future Yayes "Stong Girls Big Choices" Women's Tee

    Future Yayes is a group of young Aboriginal women from town camps aged 14 – 20 years of age. The primary aim of the group is to support young women to teach them the drivers of family violence, build their confidence and capacity to become leaders in their communities. The group created this design to showcase how Aboriginal women are strong, proud and support one another.

    Future Yayes used the collaboration with Dangerous Females to think about how Aboriginal women can get labeled as ‘dangerous’ just for being strong.

     

    Future Yayes wanted to create a t-shirt that is bright and loud, that shows how they’re proud to be Aboriginal women and how strong women support one-another. “Strong Girls, Big Voices” is one of the Future Yayes taglines to let people know that they’re strong in what they do and make their voices heard.
